I just figured out a bit more about grid. You might have noticed from the new index page if you've been keeping up. I think I finally kinda figured out what I want the main aesthetic to be on here. Sweeping changes coming as soon as I can figure out how to implement what I want. While I was working on that grid stuff, I guess I thought a bit more about why I'm doing this. After those thoughts I was having earlier today, I had to find my motivation again. I think most of that discussion is kinda irrelavent to the work I do here. Whether I am changed or not upon the release of any of my ideas out into the world, that's not the point. Just a fortunate or unfortunate byproduct. The only thing that really matters is how it affects you! And even no person reads this, the world is still changed. My keyboard will be marked by my fingerprints, the bits and bytes of my computer and the server I upload this to will have the memory of my words, and the dust displaced by my breath will be sent out into the world, however small the world of dust may be. And in that way the death of me or my past self isn't any more permanent than walking to another room.
Heavy stuff, I know! But I find it comforting. That's why I'm doing this.
